Ski school is well-established and excellent: the ESF (École du Ski Français) runs group lessons for kids from around age three, typically in half-day blocks, French-taught but used to international groups every winter. Booking ahead matters more than people expect, popular time slots and instructors fill up, especially over school holiday weeks. Pacing matters more than most first-time parents plan for. A five- or six-year-old is often done skiing by early afternoon, tired legs and cold hands well before the adults are ready to stop.
